About the book

Artur lives in a little yellow house with a big green garden and a daughter named Eleni. Then he gets a very important job, and their time starts to vanish. Summer goes by as fast as a sneeze. The garden dries up. And one terrible Friday, Artur misses Eleni’s birthday.

Something is eating their time, and Artur promises to find it. He and Eleni search over mountains, across the plains and under the sea, until a telescope on the roof finally shows them the culprit: the Time Eater, a creature as big as the sky that slurps up minutes, Tuesdays and whole summers.

How do you beat a monster that eats time? Not by rushing. Neat, tidy, perfectly packed time is its favorite snack. So Eleni comes up with a much sillier plan.

The only good time to waste time is when you are fighting a Time Eater.
